Desinformación, noticias falsas y posverdad: estudio comparativo entre tendencias generales, artículos de investigación en revistas académicas sobre seguridad y titulares periodísticos

El presente artículo de investigación explora la dinámica y evolución de tres términos de gran relevancia en el panorama comunicativo contemporáneo, tanto en español como en inglés: «desinformación» («disinformation»), «noticias falsas» («fake news») y «posverdad» («post-truth»). Para ello, se implementan dos enfoques distintos de examen. Inicialmente, se combina la herramienta Google Trends, que refleja las tendencias de búsqueda generales de cada palabra clave, con un análisis exhaustivo de los titulares de dos medios de comunicación prominentes, nytimes.com y elmundo.es. De este modo, se determina cómo estos periódicos han gestionado y reflejado dichos temas a lo largo del tiempo. Posteriormente, se realiza una revisión sistemática de varias revistas académicas sobre seguridad. Concretamente, buscando la presencia de los términos mencionados en los títulos, «abstracts» o «keywords» de los artículos de investigación. Asimismo, este estudio no sólo proporciona una comprensión detallada de la trascendencia y tratamiento de estos vocablos, tanto en el ámbito académico como en el periodístico, sino que también se enriquece con una amplia gama de gráficos y tablas que ilustran y complementan el análisis, ofreciendo una perspectiva visual clara de los hallazgos.
