CLOUD COMPUTING : Notes for a spanish cloud computing strategy

Abstract

Cloud Computing is a buzzword that we are hearing more and more.Organizations see this technology as providing the solution to manyeconomic and technology infrastructure problems.Cloud computing (SaaS, PaaS and IaaS) is growing rapidly, and thecloud delivery and implementation models (private, public, hybridand community) offered by a multitude of providers have become acommon part of business strategy and research centre terminologyIn this article we seek to analyze these models, which have become almoststandard in the industry. We assess their advantages and disadvantages,and the main problems associated with cloud computing, such assecurity, data protection and privacy.
