Abstract

Military education and training in Spain is currently undergoing a
complete overhaul following the enactment of Law 39/2007 on the
Military Career. The aim is to achieve higher standards of quality and
attach special importance to the role of military teaching staff. Based on
an analysis of the current situation, we present a number of thoughts
and proposals on how to improve the quality of military education,
placing special emphasis on the preparation, training and recognition
of the teaching staff.
